Job Description

Attentive is a personalized mobile messaging platform changing the way consumers interact with businesses. Headquartered in New York City, the company raised a $13 million investment led by Bain Capital Ventures in 2018. Attentive was founded by the co-founders of TapCommerce, the global leader in mobile app retargeting, acquired by Twitter in 2014.

Attentive is looking for a Director of Sales to join our team. Your primary responsibly will be the management of our mid-market sales team, based in New York City. You'll work closely with the VP of Sales, Sales Operations Manager and the CEO, with a focus on increasing our mid market sales.


  • Directly managing our enterprise account executive team selling to enterprise businesses.
  • Attending sales and customer meetings in order to coach our account executive team, increase our win-rate and provide feedback to our product and marketing teams. Work closely with our Director of Inside Sales and his team of sales development representatives to ensure smooth operations between our inside sales team and our enterprise sales team, generating meaningful quality leads.


-4+ years of Enterprise Software sales, preferably in marketing software for eCommerce and retail companies -Experience as a sales manager at a fast-growing company -Extremely comfortable in outside sales meetings and events -Self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset approach to managing your team and quota
