As the first Button Sales Operations & Strategy Manager, your goal is to optimize sales processes and operations - ultimately allowing the sales team to scale quickly and surpass their goals. You will lead and coordinate critical pillars of sales effectiveness including modeling and forecasting, sales enablement, CRM management, analysis, forecasting & reporting, and inside sales. You will also conduct insightful market research and manage cross-functional projects with engineering, partner success, marketing, and design


Responsibilities

  • Partner with our CRO, CFO, and CEO to build out forecasting models
  • Drive and facilitate cross-functional projects with Engineering, Product, Marketing, & Partner Success
  • Collaborate with the Partner Success team to streamline the onboarding of new partners
  • Build, optimize, and structure internal sales processes across each prospect tier
  • Partner with marketing to create and prepare external facing sales collateral for all client meetings
  • Support our executive team with pre-sales research, contracts, and other priority deliverables
  • Conduct insightful market research to improve product and sales positioning
  • Enhance current sales reporting and CRM programs
  • Design and build new reports based on business needs and objectives
  • Own our pipeline management - ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and analysis of all sales data
  • Own, manage, and close non-enterprise & self-serve inbound leads
  • Represent Button at industry events and conferences

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience as a management consultant or sales operations leader at a high growth, B2B technology company
  • Expertise in sales forecasting and financial modeling
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills around complex technical products and features
  • An admirable skill for building efficiency, effectiveness, and automation
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a “get things done” mentality
