Account Development Representative

SF Bay Area - San Francisco Full Time


Dedrone is the first automated drone security platform; an extension of physical and cyber security into the airspace that protects a vulnerability gap exploited by the advances in consumer and commercial drone technology. Our aerial intrusion detection platform provides early warning of malicious drone activities and is used to protect data centers, prisons, airports and other critical facilities from corporate espionage, smuggling, terrorism, and hacking. We automatically detect, classify, issue alerts, record evidence to identify and assess potential threats and can automatically trigger offensive or defensive countermeasures if needed. A software-first approach with over-the-air updates future proofs customers insuring that their solution will stay up to date with the evolving drone market and allows it to be interoperable and easily scalable with sensors and countermeasures for any specific deployment. Dedrone has an active and growing install base. Our most notable references include the Clinton-Trump presidential debates, the Suffolk County prison in New York, the Royal Family of Qatar, the New York Mets’ stadium, and the World Economic Forum in Davos. Job Description

Dedrone Account Development Representatives (ADR) play a critical role in growing the business at Dedrone. We are looking for enthusiastic, self-driven, top performers to join a fast-paced, high performing team of sales professional who are looking to rise through the ranks as we continue to build a winning culture within the counter-drone marketplace. As an ADR, you will be the first point of contact with potential customers and will set the tone for future client experiences. As an effective ADR, your main focus will be outbound prospecting to generate new leads, effectively educate prospects on the threat of drones, and help win strategic deals in partnership with the Enterprise Sales Team.


Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, and aggressively generate new opportunities weekly
  • Methodically qualify and develop a sales pipeline; maintain a high volume of activity including outbound cold calls, emails, & social selling
  • Consistently exceed monthly & quarterly sales KPIs and be well-compensated for doing so
  • Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in prospective accounts
  • Work closely with leadership to share best practices to continuously learn and improve the sales process, product, and go-to-market strategy
  • Attend national events/tradeshows to drive awareness of the threat of drones and what organizations can do based on current laws, regulations and technology
  • Become a subject matter expert on all things drone related

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Someone excited to to build a new market from the ground up
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
  • The ability to clearly articulate, educate, inspire, project confidence, influence, overcome objections, smile and remain resilient everyday
  • Ability to multi-task with several tools, work independently and prioritize tasks, honor rules of engagement and follow policies, processes and procedures
  • Experience prospecting to Director and C-Level executives with a Public Sector and Fortune 500 focus
