Account Manager

Founded in 2012, Doctor.com is the first marketing automation platform purpose-built for doctors. We've been first to market with leading reputation management and patient acquisition services including ProfileSync™, ProfilePromote™, SiteEnhance™, ReviewRequest™, and the Doctor.com ReviewHub™, which was recently the subject of a case study by Google Enterprise. All Doctor.com services connect to a proprietary network of leading consumer health and local business sites that collectively reach over 100M patients monthly, giving our clients an unfair advantage in their online marketing.


Job Description

Doctor.com is looking for a key hire who will be instrumental in maintaining client relationships and ensuring customer success as we rapidly scale our client base. As an Account Manager, you’re responsible for keeping our clients engaged and excited through reinforcing the value of our product. You will maintain close and frequent contact with clients, strengthen rapport, and empower them to benefit from our service.

Your primary objective is maintaining and growing the revenue of the clients in your book of business. We’re looking for someone who is fearless on the phone – our ideal candidate enjoys the thrill of closing deals, but prefers strategic conversations to cold-calling.

In this role, growth potential is high if you’re willing to work hard. We’re still early enough that you can play a meaningful part in defining the company’s future, but far enough along for you to be confident that you’re joining a winning team (proven revenue model, thousands of paying clients, best product in the market, etc). If you’re a masterful communicator who can see problems before they happen, and you’re eager to work on a highly motivated team, we can’t wait to hear from you!


Requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years in a customer facing role (startup, healthcare, SaaS experience a strong plus)

  • Prior sales experience

  • Comfortable with and excited to work in a startup environment

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Prior experience working with Salesforce (or a similar CRM) a plus

  • You’re fearless on the phone, and you know how to expertly navigate and guide a conversation. You’re a confident, articulate, level-headed communicator

  • A strong sense ownership and personal accountability; your integrity and dependability are never in question

  • Status quo is not a word in your vocabulary. You’re excited to come up with new and creative ways to keep Doctor.com top of mind for our clients that we haven’t thought of yet.

  • You’re motivated by individual achievement and contribution, while maintaining a team mentality. The bigger picture of company success is important to you.
