Sales Operations Specialist

SF Bay Area - San Francisco Full Time

  • Collect, implement and deliver on all sponsorships
  • Serve as primary point of contact for exhibitors/sponsors post-sale
  • Interact directly with clients to collect sponsorship assets (including logos, marketing items, descriptions, etc)
  • Update changes within specific portals (i.e primary contacts, booth numbers, passes, etc)
  • Utilize Salesforce and other tracking tools to manage asset collection, provide valuable customer insight and improve customer experience
  • Check in regularly with Sales Account Manager to ensure client needs are being met
  • Focus on retention of clients from initial interaction through show cycle; through conversations with exhibitor/sponsor, identify areas of potential upsell and relate back to Sales
  • Create Tasks by Team (TBT) document and define exact fulfillment responsibilities across groups with input from Brand Success Team and Event Operations
  • Coordinate weekly with Marketing, Event Operations, and other relevant departments to ensure that items are collected on time and deployed appropriately
  • Collaborate with other Fulfillment Team members to improve process and adapt best practices across brands
  • Collaborate with all Sales Ops departments (Brand Success, Processing and Reporting & Rebook) to ensure seamless client experience from signature through execution.
  • Work with Brand Success team to create Exhibitor Portal
  • Identify issues or challenges before escalation
  • Field, organize and complete prospective RFPs that articulate relevant media solutions, rates and detailed information for IT Media brands
  • Serve as a liaison between RFP prospects, sales reps and sales operations, maneuvering available inventory and communicating available programs to potential sponsors


  • Very comfortable handling high volume of customer emails/calls
  • Exemplary high standards of customer service, honesty, and integrity; motivated and driven to succeed
  • Highly organized with excellent ability to balance multiple projects at once while paying absolute attention to detail
  • Able to communicate conceptual solutions to peers and management quickly and effectively
  • Must work well independently as well as in a partnership and team
  • 2+ years of successful administrative support/client-facing sales assistance
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent required
