A Solutions Engineer plays a key role at Inpensa working closely with an Account Executive engaging prospective customers, analyzing needs, developing and presenting demonstrations, and leading solutions design workshops to support capture of new software and professional services opportunities.
- Deliver high impact demonstrations that cut to the core of prospects’ critical business issues and illustrate compelling value of the Inpensa Platform. -Configure and deliver “scripted” demonstrations that capture prospects’ sample business cases, processes, reports and associated data, leading hands on workshops to confirm functional and technical fit. -Lead solutions design workshops with prospects and clients to build confidence and drive toward pre-implementation reviews for creation of ROM implementation plans in collaboration with Customer Success. -Define, develop, and own a world class day in the life demonstration environment that provides a framework for a powerful narrative around multiple personas. -Define, develop, and own tools used in Inpensa’s demand generation strategy, e.g., downloadable business case template in response to paid/organic search results or social media campaigns. -Create high impact presentations that map Inpensa’s message of compelling value to specific customer needs. -Hands on engagement in the RFI/RFP process soliciting input from appropriate areas in the organization. -Provide actionable market feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
-A minimum of 4 years of enterprise software solutions engineer experience, preferably SaaS / Cloud applications. Project Portfolio Management (PPM) experience such as Planview, HP PPM, Clarity or Anaplan or Technology Business Management (TBM) experience such as Apptio or Digital Fuel a plus. -Experience in a lean, early stage environment requiring agility and flexibility. -Track record configuring demonstrations and leading solution design discussions in a complex, high value application market. -Demonstrated success across multiple years, target segments and/or companies selling to the Fortune 1000. -Technical aptitude to understand and convey Inpensa’s Business Value Management software solution to prospective decision makers. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines. -Bachelor’s Degree is required.
