Job Description

We are looking for a passionate, driven, and intellectually curious Sales Director with proven experience selling early stage enterprise solutions. You’ll work to source, nurture, and close six- and seven-figure deals and play a key role in growing Kinsa Insights and Kinsa Connect businesses. The ideal candidate loves the thrill of the hunt, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. You’re inspired by Kinsa’s mission. You know how to collaborate cross-functionally (often Marketing, Product, and Ops) to scope out complex opportunities that deliver on unmet customer needs. You’re equally comfortable talking to a CEO in a stuffy board room and a school nurse who wants to bring Kinsa to her school. You don’t need to be handed a playbook — you’re excited about the prospect of building the playbook to enable future scale.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify, develop, and close six- and seven-figure enterprise deals in one of Kinsa’s verticals (Brands / Media, Payers / Providers, Employers)
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to identify and close renewal / upsell / cross-sell opportunities at our existing customers
  • Grow sales pipeline though outreach, events, conferences, and chutzpah
  • Contribute thought leadership to educate the market on Kinsa’s offerings and brand
  • Work closely with the B2B & Marketing team to refine messaging, value proposition, and sales tactics to improve the sales funnel

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of prior quota-carrying sales experience at a digital health (e.g. Livongo), enterprise software (e.g. LinkedIn), or professional services organization (e.g. GLG)
  • Demonstrated success selling into Fortune 500 customers and closing six / seven figure deals
  • Experience selling nascent products / building a go-to-market strategy
  • Industry and network in one or more of Kinsa's target verticals
  • Technically savvy, skilled in using CRM & standard sales metrics to manage pipeline efficiency
  • Entrepreneurial individuals excited to join a growing company
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Keen sense of ownership, grit, and creativity
  • Passion for Kinsa’s mission
  • Act as a force multiplier
