Job Description

Mission: As a Business Development Representative, your role will have a significant impact on the growth of Map My Customers as an organization. We are looking for high-energy, driven professionals with natural sales instincts to join our sales team. This position reports to the Director of Sales and works closely with other departments throughout the organization. The role involves researching companies and contacts, inbound and outbound campaigns, and qualifying each opportunity before sending to a Account Executive. It is a dynamic role that fits high energy, collaborative, and smart salespeople.


What you’ll do - The Business Development Rep (BDR) will conduct high volume prospecting for qualified leads (100+ outbound calls per day). - Connecting with prospects via phone, email, social media. - Craft new opportunities which result in closed business. - Documenting and code daily activities in CRM. - Collaborate with Director of Sales to strategize on named accounts and how to penetrate them. - Work closely with Account Executives to accelerate the sales cycle. - Represent Map My Customers with integrity and professionalism at all times in all written and oral communications.


  • You have a 4-year college degree

  • You have 1-2 years of sales experience/lead generation (preferred)

  • You have an internal motivation and drive to succeed in a goal-driven position

  • You are willing to learn in a fast-paced sales environment

  • You possess the ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable

  • You show an eagerness to learn technology basics and apply them to business situations

  • You are belligerently confident and relentlessly curious
