Job Description

Nautilus Labs is looking for an ambitious and metrics-driven professional with sound business acumen and natural sales instincts to join, and help build, our Client Associate team from the ground up. You’ll be initiating conversations and sourcing opportunities for Nautilus Platform, exploring ways we can drive business transformation across large maritime shipping organizations. As a part of this role, you will specialize in finding and engaging high-quality prospects by phone or email, leveraging new content and thought leadership pieces to pique interest, researching Nautilus Labs’ target market, and creating custom messaging for each prospect to highlight the value Nautilus Platform can have on their unique business.


Responsibilities

  • Prospect and engage maritime leaders and performance experts leveraging strategic, value-add messaging, in a fast-paced environment
  • Serve as the face of Nautilus Labs for all outbound sales communications
  • Attend industry events to increase Nautilus Labs’ brand awareness
  • Strategize for, build and manage all top of funnel sales activity prior to initial meeting, leveraging outbound sales software, including Salesforce.com, to set and achieve aggressive targets
  • Determine if prospective customers are a Nautilus Labs fit and facilitate a smooth transition to Client Executives in order to set each prospect up for success
  • Develop top performer sales skills and learn methodologies for success with ongoing dedicated trainings

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Persistent and metrics-driven
  • The ability to triage competing priorities and excellent time management skills
  • Track record of over-achieving goals, in the classroom, playing field, or business
  • 2+ years of work experience, start-up or trained sales experience a plus
  • A strong desire to grow your career in sales
