Job Description

The New Business Sales Executive acts as the main interface for all commercial communications, coordinating and functioning as the main escalation point between Persado and the prospective customer.

Preferably you are based in New York or San Francisco.

Responsibilities

  • Development and delivery of prospect specific, sales materials and product demonstrations
  • Responsible for identifying, nurturing and closing new business within a defined list of USA based companies.
  • Deliver the target financial performance from the nominated accounts (new business subscription bookings)
  • Ensure completion of all project related activities
  • Build and maintain key customer relationships, and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
  • Be part of the founding sales team to develop the USA region to reach its maximum business potential

Requirements

  • Bright, ambitious, self-driven, hard-working and flexible
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience, preferably selling SaaS based marketing technology.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience closing new business at $100k+ ARR.
  • Experience and familiarity of our line of business a plus – Marketing Technology, Email Platforms, Ecommerce, SEM, SEO, Ad networks, Ad management, Web analytics
  • Specific knowledge of one or more of the following products is a distinct advantage: Exact Target, Responsys, Cheetah Mail, Facebook, Adobe Test & Target, Optimizley
  • Experience selling to senior level contacts
  • Creative prospecting skills, consultative selling skills, ability to qualify prospects, and strong closing skills
  • Organized and structured thinking for planning and execution purposes
  • Must have a desire to be part of a fast-paced start-up environment

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
  • On Target Earnings: $140,000 - $150,000 (Uncapped)
