Senior Account Executive

PublicStuff is a civic engagement platform that helps residents and local governments connect to improve their communities. Residents can submit, track and view nearby service requests online, through the smartphone app, via SMS or traditional phone calls. Local governments leverage our backend platform to automatically route, assign tasks, and update residents on status. With populations ranging from 4,000 to 1,000,000+, PublicStuff works to meet the needs and budgets of cities of all sizes.


Job Description

PublicStuff is building a world-class sales organization made up of highly collaborative, creative, and driven professionals, and are looking for proven sales executives to help drive vertiginous revenue growth over the next few years.  

We are changing the way residents and governments communicate to solve everyday issues in their communities. You will be the face of the company to our clients, serving as an evangelist for the PublicStuff platform and challenging your prospects to think differently about how to manage their business, by educating them on our space. Accordingly, as the price of admission for this team, you will need to be wicked smart, curious, attentive to detail, analytical, hard-working, and a relentless self-improver. 

You will help shape marketing and outreach strategies, have input into the direction of our product, and generally help us figure how to skate to where the puck is going to be. However, this is first and foremost a sales role: success will be measured in outcomes, not efforts. You will carry a quota and enjoy the benefits as well as the responsibilities that go with it. That said, we know you get the joke and wouldn't have it any other way.  

Limited travel is required; however, the majority of our enterprise sales efforts will be driven through inside sales activity.


Responsibilities

As an early member of the team, your efforts will directly impact the overall revenue of the organization, and thereby the trajectory of the company. All you have to do is prove to us that you can break every sales record in the history of the company to date.

Beyond that, we're looking for people for whom the only thing more motivating than winning, is winning with a team.


Compensation

  • Base Salary: $0 - $60,000
  • On Target Earnings: $120,000
