Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to come aboard! This role has a dedicated growth path and training to be a great technical sales professional. As a member of the Sales Development Team you will help drive ServiceChannel’s pipeline growth by teaming with your field sales teams to uncover, qualify and nurture new opportunities. This role is focused on outbound prospecting to target accounts to secure initial qualified meetings for your counterparts on the sales team. Some inbound leads may be provided from marketing lead generation programs, but the SDRs will generate new business opportunities primarily from independent prospecting. You will educate prospects on ServiceChannel’s service automation platform transforming the facilities industry one client at a time. We are looking for self-starters with a passion for technology and people.


Responsibilities

-Develop a comprehensive understanding of ServiceChannel’s facilities management software and its benefits to our customers -Generate qualified meetings for the sales team by researching, qualifying and establishing contacts at target accounts. -Follow up and qualify inbound requests and MQLs via telephone and email with a goal of scheduling meetings for the sales team -Enthusiastically work on sequences and multi-channel outbound activities, representing ServiceChannel solutions in a highly professional manner to qualify and schedule meetings and sales accepted leads. -Build target account profiles by researching and adding target personas to sfdc.com. Master messaging by persona and their pain points to effectively position our solution. -Consistently meet KPIs of 40-50 calls, emails, social touches to deliver net new opportunities to the sales team. -Log, track and maintain outbound activities in accordance with sales processes and methodologies in Salesforce.com -Able to handle objections and educate prospects in a consultative manner. Be patient and persistent in building prospect relationships to cultivate latent demand. -Leverage prospecting tools like Linkedin and Zoominfo to research companies and identify key decision makers at new accounts


Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related fields -1-2 years of sales experience, ideally software sales or relevant sales experience -Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills including phone presence -Tenacious, hardworking, highly organized and self-motivated -Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize effectively -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment -Proactive, independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude
