Job Description

As our VP of Sales & Business Development, you will represent the company and its interests by being 100% focused on the generation of new business, renewal of existing business, and building long-lasting relationships with tech clients in the US.

Like all great salespeople, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and most importantly you will be a great listener who is capable of understanding client needs and delivering results. You will have strong self-discipline, be resilient and persistent, and be armed with solid sales training and experience that has served you well in the past, and will again with us.


Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales plans to achieve company goals Review market data and analyses to determine customer needs, product requirements and pricing in concert with the General Manager Meet with key clients to understand goals and requirements, build relationships, deliver sales presentations, negotiate and close deals Advise clients and partners on best practice, utilises strong relationship-building techniques to take a ‘trusted advisor’ role Build strong and positive internal relationships to ensure a strong team and excellent outcomes Utilise data to understand sales and product effectiveness and work with wider team to maximise product ROI Prepare regular sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, sales stages and areas of proposed client base expansion Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition Represent company at conferences as required to increase brand awareness and promote SitePoint


Requirements

5+ Years of Sales and Business Development experience Bachelor’s Degree

Core Skills and Experience:

Experienced negotiator and deal closer Strong written and verbal communication skills Must work independently and be self-driven Knowledge and familiarity with: Advertising and media products and services Performance marketing and lead generation Internet publishing businesses
