Job Description

The candidate must be highly organized, creative, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must have a track record of exceptional work in the sales, marketing or partnerships industry. This role will report to the Senior Director of Sales and will support pitch/asset development and grow the core DRL business.


Responsibilities

  • Research target accounts and creates the strategy and stories to break a new business and increase the share
  • Identify targets and draft initial outreach supporting DRL assets
  • Prospect and research businesses with the goal of setting appointments with senior decision makers
  • Customize presentations for clients/agencies, providing most effective information to drive budgets
  • Work with Account Manager to assist with retention efforts including servicing existing and new clients and accounts
  • Manage interactions with clients and prospects through the use of the reporting system including accurately documenting client information
  • Provide daily sponsorship updates and manage internal team communications and pipeline reporting
  • Professionally communicate to gather all relevant details; communicate with supervisor and provide timely follow up
  • Special project and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience in related field
  • 2-4 years prior experience in sales, sports, customer service or entertainment preferred but not required
  • Project management capabilities, including attention to detail across deadlines and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with executives at all levels of an organization
  • The desire for a career in sales and partnerships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
  • Advanced computer skills required, including proficiency in Keynote
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize while multitasking
