DESCRIPTION Uppercase is a platform for brands to easily launch, optimize, and scale brick and mortar retail. We’re looking for a Regional Account Executive to lead Uppercase’s New York sales team in achieving new customer acquisition goals and growing the company’s revenue. The Regional Account Executive will work closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing to close new accounts in New York and across the East Coast through inside and outside sales efforts and will have the opportunity to influence strategy for long-term growth in new markets and initiatives.

The position reports directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing and will work collaboratively with other Sales Executives and Business Development Representatives at the company to achieve personal and team wide targets.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

Learn Uppercase’s product inside and out and evangelize it to up-and-coming and established brands across verticals. Connect over the phone and in person to convert brand leads from the business development team into new Uppercase customers, helping grow sales, increase average contract lengths, and develop Uppercase’s presence in new markets. Clearly articulate Uppercase’s value proposition to prospective clients and learn how to overcome their objections. Develop a deep understanding of client needs through active listening and iterate on our messaging in new and mature verticals. Requirements

REQUIREMENTS 3+ years experience on a B2B sales team in high-growth/startup environment - with a consistent track record of exceeding quotas. Experience selling complex solutions into retail/e-commerce or real estate preferred. A hunter mentality and a passion for sales - you’re a tenacious hustler by nature, have a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic, and are excited to drive revenue growth. Excellent communication skills, both internally with your team and externally with clients - you can communicate clearly and concisely, and you can break down complicated topics into simple terms people can understand. Deep understanding of the sales process - you’ve worked within a systematized sales process, think critically about your funnel, and know what actions you need to take to achieve desired outcomes. Experience using a CRM - we use Close.io. You understand that data rules the day, and you believe that a CRM is critical to your success. You’re diligent about tracking outreach and reporting on the status of your pipeline. Cross-functional collaboration experience - you’re cooperative and work well with your peers.
