Troops is looking for its very first, high-energy, motivated business development reps to join our go-to market team.

You will be responsible for driving new business for the sales team by sourcing, qualifying, and starting conversations with new potential customers, working closely with the Account Executive and Marketing teams, and demonstrating Troops’ core values: Positivity, Growth Mindset, Transparency, Ownership, Customer Obsession, and Self-Starting.

This is a unique opportunity to get a front-row seat at a high-growth startup working with some of the fastest-growing companies in the world and backed by top VCs. You will learn from and work closely with proven startup veterans in a B2B environment on an exciting product in a new space, with the opportunity to quickly graduate to a closing role.


  • Thoughtfully build relationships and interest in Troops with executives and managers, through a combination of email, phone, and social outreach
  • Develop new strategies for successfully engaging potential prospective customers. We have a successful playbook, but we’re looking for you to enhance and expand it further.
  • Hit the ground running - absorb the playbook and be ready to start contacting new prospects 10 days from start date.
  • Work closely with the Head of Growth, Account Executives, - Product, Marketing, and other teams to improve processes and help us build a more successful product.


The Ideal Candidate: - Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background required - Has previous professional experience - Exceptional organization and time management skills - Is highly motivated and accountable - Possesses excellent written and communication skills - Has a proven track record of achievement and excellence - Has previously demonstrated leadership, initiative, technical aptitude and curiosity - Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit
