Job Description

The reason you come to Troops is because you want to work with proven leaders and learn how to build a company from the ground up, while developing your sales career.

We are looking for a ‘builder’ and self-starter. You are okay getting your hands dirty if that is what it takes to get the job done. You will learn a ton here and will get exposure to building a business, but it is our hope that you will teach us new things as well. A natural lean for constant improvement coupled with analytical ability and a relentless, positive work ethic is how you will get there.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle (cold-calling, pitching, and closing).
  • Utilize phone + email outreach to push deals further along through the pipeline.
  • Think creatively about new potential use cases of Troops for different clients
  • Meet and exceed productivity metrics in order to crush quarterly goals
  • Track and manage your pipeline to assist with labor forecasting as Troops grows

Requirements

  • Is highly motivated
  • Possesses excellent written and communication skills
  • Has a proven track record of achievement and excellence, especially around selling and closing deals
  • Has 1-3 years of selling experience in a closing sales role
  • Willing and comfortable with performing strategic outbound prospecting
  • Previously has demonstrated leadership, initiative, and curiosity
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit
