Job Description

At Xpenditure we are changing the way people manage their expenses. Let’s get rid of Excel sheets and shoeboxes filled with receipts, a new way of automatic and digital expense processing is here! Today, Xpenditure provides the most efficient solution for expense management to almost 100,000 users and we have customers in 60 countries.

Apparently people really like what we do and our user base is growing very fast. With almost 30000 new users in the past 6 months we are really proud of our accomplishments so far. So why are we looking to hire?

For us it’s simple, we want to grow even faster and for that we need more people. Also our sales team can use some extra hands and brains. That’s why we have an open position for a Sales Development Representative (SDR). You might not know it yet, but you may be the perfect fit for our awesome company.


As an SDR at Xpenditure you will take ownership over the incoming leads. Our SDR team is a very important link between the marketing and the sales team. Thanks to the efforts of the marketing team we are getting in a lot of leads and we have a lot of traffic on our website. Our SDR team goes through all of the incoming leads and also proactively generates additional leads through a variety of tools.

First, they make sure they know everything there is to know about this incoming lead after which they will contact them and 'nurture' this lead until they become prospects. Finally this prospect is passed on to the sales team and they will work their magic to try and close the sales cycle.

You will work in a fast paced team to achieve your targets. Your work will directly impact the company’s growth. Our team will see you as a valuable member and you’ll contribute to our customer satisfaction.


You are a hunter, you love getting into the details of a customer and finding out who they are and what they are looking for. Also, you love talking to clients and you’re not afraid to turn a no into a yes. Persuading them of the advantages of Xpenditure is your second nature and you prefer to focus on that instead of on administration, procedures or politics.

Since you will work with clients from over the entire world, you speak fluent English. You prefer to build up a relationship with the customers. Customer satisfaction keeps you up at night and you try to achieve it with real time answers and short feedback loops. Your sales mindedness will allow you to learn how to approach a certain type of client. You’re a go getter and you’ll do what’s needed.
