Job Description

CloserIQ is seeking a Director of Client Advisory to drive strategy and performance of it's own B2B sales team. The successful candidate will manage a team of Client Advisors in NYC to start and eventually additional teams in Boston and other US offices as the company continues to grow. The ideal individual has demonstrated success in driving revenue from large enterprises while being able to move at startup speed.

The Client Advisory role at CloserIQ is a mixture of enterprise sales, customer success, and human capital advisory. Client Advisors are subject matter experts that advise global employers and VC partners how to build high performing sales functions.

We seek leaders who align with our core values and can create an inspiring team culture of meritocracy, performance, and accountability. While familiarity with tech sales industry is ideal, it is not required so long as the individual has a proven track record of success as a people manager and ability to run P&L for an entire business unit.


Responsibilities

  • Hire, onboard, and performance manage a team of Client Advisors
  • Troubleshoot enterprise relationships, handle client escalations, and lead cross-functional collaborations internally
  • Test and implement new strategies that drive customer success and evangelism
  • Create data-driven oversight and reporting for both internal stakeholders and customer business reviews
  • Inspire, coach, and mentor individual contributors and groom them for future leadership roles internally

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 5-10 years work experience. Preference for candidates who have seen companies at all stages of growth including both startups and large enterprises.
  • 2+ years managing a team of client facing teams (AE, CSM/AM, etc.)
  • Track record of longevity and success in prior roles such as career advancement/promotion

This position is based in NYC and remote opportunities are not available at this time. Visa sponsorship for this role is currently not available.
