Job Description

As Forter continues its rapid growth trajectory, the Enterprise Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing, hiring , and training a team of Business Development Representatives. This role will help drive predictable revenue through a repeatable sales process.


Responsibilities

  • Carry a team quota; regularly meet and/or exceed goals
  • Monitor and refine sales lead processes and metrics
  • Manage territory assignments and BDR/AE relationships
  • Hire, recruit, mentor and develop top enterprise BDRs
  • Develop and own the sales “funnel,”continuously optimizing every step
  • Define new processes to increase overall productivity
  • Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing to refine repeatable prospecting model for both inbound and outbound efforts
  • Keep abreast of competition
  • Communicate proactively with management, customers and support staff
  • Participate in team-building and company growth activities including strategy setting and training

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of enterprise business development experience
  • 3+ years of enterprise business development management experience is an absolute must
  • Experience working for a high growth software company
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to influence, train and motivate others
  • Prior success building and leading an enterprise business development team, and experience developing/executing a plan to achieve goals
  • Comfortable with a fast paced, startup environment
  • Technically savvy
  • Comfortable and familiar with cross-functional collaboration
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and love of selling
