Job Description

Ocrolus is a Series B venture-backed FinTech company that uses Artificial Intelligence and crowdsourcing to automate financial review processes. The Company transforms e-statements, scans, and cell phone images, regardless of quality, into 99+% accurate digital data. By replacing tedious, imperfect human audits with sharp, AI-driven analyses, Ocrolus modernizes financial assessments in lending and a variety of other industries.

Poised to enter the market for Accounts Payable and Payments automation, Ocrolus is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to grow our business. The ideal candidate has significant experience selling Accounts Payable SaaS or data products and a deep understanding of the industry and where the pain points are. With support from the product and operations teams, you'll help conceive and then implement our go-to-market strategy for the payments vertical


Responsibilities

-Managing the entire sales cycle selling invoice extraction and data validation services -Developing partnership channels -Negotiating agreements with clients -Working closely with customer success, product, and engineering to develop new product features and ensure pilots run smoothly -Meticulously tracking correspondences and progress with each client -Working with marketing team to identify targets for account-based marketing -As our presence in the industry grows, training and supervising one or more junior salespeople to support our overall effort in the mortgage industry


Requirements

-At least five years' experience selling Accounts Payable solutions and at least eight years' total experience in client-facing roles -Demonstrable, quantified success in past roles -Excellent communication skills, both writing and speaking; proficiency with analytics and creating persuasive client presentations -Team player with strong interpersonal skills; able to work across departments and act as a leader in the organization -Organized and systematic approach to selling -Self-motivated and disciplined; a "can-do" attitude; excited to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
