Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, proven sales executive who is passionate about providing innovation and value to institutional investors. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to get in on the ground floor (of a $75B+ platform). This successful individual will be responsible for selling PivotalPath's product line to institutional investors including wealth managers, university endowments, asset managers, public and private pensions and foundations. The ideal candidate is an outgoing, smart, personable and energetic professional who thrives on accomplishment, expert in cold-calling/pitching prospects, responding to marketing leads, leveraging existing contacts and tapping PivotalPath's client base.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute on sales strategies within PivotalPath’s target markets

  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets

  • Sell the value of PivotalPath’s products to prospects by articulating how solutions meet their needs and improve their investments/businesses

  • Deliver high-quality customer service, including new customer onboarding, and client retention through client visits and trainings

  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline

  • Identity and cultivate new markets and opportunities

  • Provide weekly updates to executive leadership and regular usage reports upon request

  • Stay informed about financial markets and hedge funds role therein, establishing credibility with clients by understanding their business


Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a financial-services, and/or technology-based sales role or similar position

  • Experience selling data and/or content preferred

  • Process and data driven, while being supported by one of the best data-driven companies

  • History of success in short sales cycle execution, with a strong understanding of business relationship dynamics

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, negotiation and closing skills

  • Clear and concise communication and presentation skills

  • Strong understanding of financial markets

  • Firm grasp of leading sales methodologies and comfort in using appropriate sales tools including SalesForce.com, LinkedIn, HubSpot, Zoom etc.

  • Strong academic credentials including a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, etc.

  • Passionate about sales and technology

  • Personable with outstanding relationship and presentation skills

  • Possession of a “hunter” mentality with a systematic, disciplined, and insightful approach to sales

  • High energy with a penchant for action and a drive for results

  • Creative - always striving for unique ways to grab the investor community's attention

  • Confident and collaborative - a mix of both is required to work effectively within a culture of high expectations alongside a collegial team
