Job Description

Rocketrip is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will prospect and qualify potential customers, building trust and rapport that results in qualified opportunities. The Sales Development Representative is the first point of contact between prospective customers and Rocketrip, and will be responsible for clearly conveying our platform's value and generating new leads.


Responsibilities

  • Prospect, educate, and qualify outbound leads to create sales-ready opportunities
  • Interact with prospects via phone and email
  • Set up meetings for our Account Executives to expand the Rocketrip pipeline
  • Provide pre-sales support to resolve issues and delight potential customers
  • Vet inbound leads, responding to relevant contacts
  • Document daily activities in Salesforce
  • Meet weekly and monthly qualified opportunity goals to ensure company revenue objectives are met

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 0-3 years of sales experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should be a great writer, speaker, and listener
  • Composure under pressure and a willingness to hop on the phone with new people every single day and explain Rocketrip's value proposition as it relates to each individual
  • Exceptional organizational skills for managing a high volume of opportunities
  • Positive and hardworking mindset along with a desire to help close business
