Account Manager

Greater New York City Area Full Time

Vistar Media is an advertising platform that enables brands to reach consumers based on their behavior in the physical world. We work with enormous data sets that help us understand where consumers go throughout the day. Through our geospatial technology, we are able to not only gain valuable insights from this data but also, act on these insights by reaching on-the-go consumers through mobile and out-of-home advertising.Vistar Media is the only company that can offer this seamless experience, surrounding consumers with media across two screens. We spent the first 1.5 years of our company building the ad tech infrastructure (ad server and exchange) for digital out-of-home knowing that in order to truly reach a consumer in the physical world, a marketer must have scale across both mobile and out-of-home media.

Job Description

Looking to make a big impact at a rapidly growing startup? We are expanding our NYC presence with individuals focused on our clients and partners. Vistar Media has a fully functional ad server and exchange for place-based media. You will be working directly with the founders to drive revenue and manage client relationships.


  • respond to RFPs from existing and potential clients
  • manage existing clients relationships and work toward increasing the media spend of those clients
  • ad operations / campaign management for clients
  • working with publishers on occasion to smooth any delivery issues
  • attend client meetings
  • work with founders to find and pursue new revenue opportunities
  • help improve media kits, presentations, and marketing material
  • understand the Vistar Media platform and communicate how it can meet client objectives


  • bachelors degree
  • 2+ years in ad tech managing agency / trading desk clients
  • self-motivated and proactive
  • very organized (you will be juggling lots of accounts)
  • excellent communication skills
  • thrive in fast-paced environments
  • positive attitude and passionate about their work Would be nice
  • strong understanding of exchanges, DSPs, SSPs
  • startup experience
  • can hold your own in a conversation about ad delivery, cookies and third-party data
